Book 1

The world had changed, and Korie right along with it. Her father, along with some of his military buddies, built Haven, a secure infection-free base in the mountains. Despite their preparations, Korie’s mom and older sister did not make it to Haven before the Change swept through the country. Korie’s dad had left on a mission to save them, but hadn’t been heard from in months.
Winter is approaching, and Korie is not only responsible for caring for her three younger sisters but for hunting and gathering needed supplies for the Haven community. With Dean, her trusted partner, by her side, there isn’t much they can’t accomplish. However, a wayward hunting trip threatens to rip their lives apart.
As a group of malicious Outsiders brings trouble to the Haven community, and possible news of Korie’s missing family members, the world seems to become even more dangerous. Korie must learn to deal with her own changes and responsibilities while trying to keep her loved ones safe against the growing dangers in this new world.

Altered Existence: Fallout -Book 2

Life after the Change has not been easy for Korie and her family. Night Stalkers now roam the country, waiting to devour any living thing they come across. Getting bitten by a rotting corpse will either kill the victim or turn them into a ravenous, dead creature. Society has broken down and the previous way of life is all but gone.
Haven, the safe infection-free base that Korie’s father built, is supposed to be a safe place. The high walls and security measures are meant to keep all of the residents safe from infection and attacks from outsiders. An incident at the medical center inside Haven threatens to shatter Korie’s safety and her family’s safety inside their own community while they are struggling with a devastating personal loss.
Distrust spreads inside the community and friendships are tested to their breaking points. Korie must step up and help restore order if the Haven community hopes to survive the upcoming winter season. With the help of some trusted friends, Korie departs on a dangerous mission in the hopes of reuniting the community once again.
With lives on the line, Korie must learn how to handle her own grief while also protecting her family and the Haven residents. Her new abilities could come in handy as she continues to gain more control over them. With the growing dangers inside and outside Haven, Korie must decide who she can trust.
